PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — Free donuts, and even free marijuana have been offered to those who show proof of getting vaccinated against COVID-19 in the United States.
Last weekend, Francesco’s Pizza in Providence gave away a free slice to those who showed a COVID-19 vaccination card.
Frank Schiavone, who opened the pizza shop in October — the height of the pandemic — said Sunday’s event was a way to “mix business in trying to do something good.” He gave away hundreds of slices.
Local incentives continue next week in an effort to get younger Rhode Islanders vaccinated.
The City of Pawtucket, along with the Pawtucket Youth Commission, announced clinics at Shea and Tolman high schools to vaccinate students 16 years and older.
Clinics are scheduled at Shea High School on May 13 and Tolman High School on May 18. The city says after getting a vaccine, students will receive a voucher for an item from food trucks that will be on-site set up as a “block party.”
On Tuesday, Gov. Dan McKee was asked about offering vaccination incentives statewide.
“There are some creative ideas out there, there was ‘Get a Shot, Get a Beer’, so I think it’s important that we’re keeping front and center on that issue,” McKee said to reporters Tuesday.
“We’re going to have to be creative in terms of that pick and shovel work. I wouldn’t be against that if it was done in a way that made sense,” he added.
McKee said he’d likely have more to share about an incentive program in Thursday’s weekly COVID-19 briefing at 1 p.m.
“And he caused all rich and poor...to take the Mark.”
When a person is told that they STILL have to wear the mask, even though vaccinated, there is little incentive to get the procedure.
That would have been a much more tangible outcome, than even a “free” lottery ticket, or cash incentive.
Stupid trophies for stupid games. If the vaccinations “don’t work” or work poorly, then just take your chances with the disease, while taking a supplement that provides sinc++ ion and an ionophore like Vitamin C, Vitamin D3, or hydroxyquinone.
Then if you do get the disease, the course of the disease is much less severe. And confers much more reliable immunity.
wanna bet these state “financial incentives” are coming from the pharmaceutical companies/vaccine manufactureres?
Paying doctors financial bonuses to do this kind of stuff for pharmaceutical companies was made illegal several decades ago
Likely taxpayers are on the hook for the incentives, one way or another.
The most important question is why in Hades is Deep State so intent on upping the vaccination figures?
Are they trying to get the numbers in line before someone in Congress actually has the nads to get someone under oath to verify the claims?
Or is there some other reason...

Yep, it’s time to end ALL mask mandates. And that is for whether vaccinated or not. And we certainly need to end the MANDATES for schoolchildren to wear masks.

True dat. Going on two months after my 2nd Moderna shot I’ve noticed that my formerly receding hair line is now ADVANCING back to its former glorious location. And you’re reading that on the internet so it MUST be true.

New daily infections have slowed to the point that the CDC is no longer showing their chart. Last week there were 9/1000 infections in VT. It’s over.

Demand for vaccines will drop as more and more people are vaccinated and fewer and fewer people are left to vaccinate.
They simply cannot keep vaccinating at the rate they are. It’s physically not possible as they will simply run out of people to vaccinate.
So why aren’t Sen. Paul and company finding out whether Deep State is lying about vaccination rates?
