California won't closely track every breakthrough case. Some experts call that smart

California is telling counties to report post-vaccination cases of COVID-19 only in people who are hospitalized or have died, a shift from earlier surveillance that included all so-called breakthrough infections regardless of severity.

The move aligns the state with the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which stopped collecting nationwide data on mild or asymptomatic COVID-19 cases last month.

Some infectious disease experts have said they are disappointed in the shifts. They said it’s important to pay close attention to how well the vaccines are working across the entire population, especially with new variants emerging in other parts of the world where the pandemic is still raging.

The vaccine is so effective, there’s no need investigate data which may show otherwise.

We don’t want too much information getting out there.

Simple. Accurate statistics don’t support the narrative.

Just like under bammy....they stopped counting the outbreak during his regime.

We truly don't realize how utterly incompetent he was.

But they had to count every asymptomatic cases and all of the retests because they had to inflate the number of cases.

Yeah kinda hard to track minor symptoms for “at home” cases...thus the “hospitalization” criteria. Everyone’s antibody response is a bit different...so a COVID-19 exposure could result in a range of no symptoms to sniffles to a complete “breakthrough” and the need for hospitalization. How were they tracking minor “breakthrough” cases before? Mandatory doctor office reporting? Seems like a rather large logistical burden on Docs.

Just like Obama solving the swine flu pandemic by refusing to count cases. It’s a miracle.

They sure seemed to be able to track craptons of Covid cases before, under every rock and behind each tree... Why would it be so hard to keep tracking them now? Just because people have gotten "vaccines"?

-----------------------------------

No tests for COVID-19 due to minor/no symptoms due to antibodies from the vax...people won't even go to the doctor resulting in less testing.
