Millions of Americans have been infected with COVID and survived. We must examine the important question of whether they are now immune to the disease or whether it is advisable for them to receive injections of one of the Emergency-Use-Authorized shots – Pfizer, Moderna, or Jansen (Johnson & Johnson).
In a news briefing on May 5, Dr. Anthony Fauci highlighted three recent studies addressing immune response with and without vaccination (Reynolds et al, Leier et al, Stamatatos et al.) and declared, “We need to get vaccinated because vaccines are highly efficacious. They are better than the traditional response you get from natural infection.” The net conclusion of the studies he cited was that, based on antibody response, vaccinated people who had a previous infection are more protected from future COVID infection than both people vaccinated but not previously infected and people who are unvaccinated but previously infected.
As these declarations of virus protection and vaccine efficacy were based on antibody response, it would make sense to check current immunity status by having antibody levels checked, but that is not what is happening. According to the CDC,
Antibody testing is not currently recommended to assess for immunity to COVID-19 following COVID-19 vaccination or to assess the need for vaccination in an unvaccinated person. Since vaccines induce antibodies to specific viral protein targets, post-vaccination serologic test results will be negative in persons without history of previous natural infection if the test used does not detect antibodies induced by the vaccine.
In other words, even though scientists typically make conclusions about potential immune response based on antibodies in the lab, checking for antibodies in the real world – in your body – is not a valid way to detect your immune status.

Under communism the “thing” is often not the thing. For COVID the real “thing” seems to be mass population control, not public health.
More by the grace of God.
Regarding the ‘shots’ being pushed. My understanding is that if you have the shot(s) you have (1) no immunity from getting the SARS-COV2 flu nor (2) are you incapable of giving it to others. Rather, the shot gets your body attuned to the ‘spike protein’ so if you get this flu you have a head start on your immune system reacting.
Now, if you are under 60 and in good health what does this shot do for you?? Maybe it makes you feel superior to others but you can still get and spread this flu.
As an aside, my son will be 17 soon and my good friend has two daughters about the same age. My wife and my friend want to get the jab for these teens. All are in perfect health (save hearing loss so they cannot hear parents talking) and my understanding is that even if they get very sick and go to hospital for this age the recovery rate is something north of 99.7%. To me no real upside to the jab but potential downside. Time will tell.
All in all the Kung Flu is not a big deal. In 1968/69 I lived through the Hong Kong flu which was very similar to SAR-COV2 in that it pushed the old and very sick into the grave a few months early. Sad but that is the reality.
One day I hope the sheep of the world figure out that they have been played by the elites and take a terrible revenge.
Taking steps to assure resistance to even contracting the disease to begin with go far in cutting down its spread. The combination of additional dietary zinc and some ionophore like Vitamin C, Vitamin D3, quercetin, curcumin, or hydroxychloroquine, has proven effective in preventing the COVID-19 Wuhan virus from even establishing in body tissues.
The body does not store zinc ion, so a daily supplement is required, something on the order of 50 mg, to assure protection. Normal body minimum daily requirements is around 11 mg, but this is often lacking in diet, especially in older folks.
Those who take supplementary zinc also notice far fewer colds, often caused by another variety of coronavirus, so its effects are not confined to only one specific form of coronavirus. This bodes well for controlling just about all the “variants” that the fear-porn mongers keep telling us about.
And you don’t have to worry about the public flunky injecting you knowing the difference between subcutaneous and intermuscular...
Thank you for sharing that, doctor.

We took zinc, C and D and got COVID anyway. It was like a medium grade cold. Maybe it lessened the severity and duration. But it did not prevent it.

(I have been an Infectious Disease specialist since 1979).
Please note that currently we have semi-quantitative antibody tests that are used to assess immunity from natural Covid infection (anti-Viral Capsid IgG and anti-Spike IgG) and from vaccination (anti-Spike IgG).
I have found that levels of anti-Spike antibody are equivalent in both groups (uncontrolled data).
As the article says, immunity from Covid is broader than from vaccination; also, please note that we do not routinely test for T-cell immunity or for mucosal (secretory IgA) immunity, the latter likely being confined to those who have recovered from Covid infection.
I agree with the article that immunity following Covid infection is probably superior to immunization.
It is therefore my opinion that immunization should be confined to high-risk individuals, for whom the risk-benefit ratio favors the benefits of vaccine.
I do not understand the reasoning behind immunizing those already immune from Covid infection, unless their antibody testing indicates waning immunity: then a booster might be indicated.
I had a mild case of the rona in October last year. I actually thought it was a weak sinus infection and called the dr for steroids and antibiotics and one of my grown children called and said he was positive go get tested. My worse symptom was an absolutely relentless headache for a week. Meds would take the edge off but when they wore off, right back it came.
My kids lost their taste and smell but I never did and my wife slept in the same bed and was around me the entire time we were in quarantine and she’s taken 6 tests for work, all negative. I went to the doctor for a checkup in January and he wanted me to take the vaccine and I asked him why, I’ve had it already I am immune. Oh we don’t know that and I have had the vaccine with no problems. I finally said doc if nothing falls off of you in five years I might consider it but otherwise I’ll trust my own immunity at this point and he dropped the issue.
It’s amazing how doctors and medical people are trashing hundreds of years of practiced and accepted immunology, oh it doesn’t work now, really since when? Come on McFly THINK! Where’s the common sense here...
