Decades ago I found a vintage, etched glass martini set and bought it for my boyfriend’s birthday along with a bottle of Bombay gin and dry vermouth. We celebrated his birthday by drinking several martinis. The worst hangover I ever had and the next day I swear I could smell the gin coming out of my pores. I’ve never drunk gin again.
Where do you get straight quinine?
Fever Tree is good.
Meditteranean herbs.
Lemon.
Elderflower.
See, you make is sound so...good, that if fills me with envy!
Tanqueray Malacca.
Metal Cocktail shaker, shook till your hand hurts from the cold, but continue; pour and strain the top layer of the Martini will begin forming ice. Very smooth and very cold.
Yup. Little ice flakes floating on top means its just right!
Make a Tom Collins. Add a splash of cherry brandy. Easy-peasy.
I could look at Ciara all day long and be very happy!
:)
And besides that, she has a quality of being genuinely nice.
You can tell she’s aware of how attractive she is, but not stuck up or superior about it.
