Wow, the video shows it was actually a momma bear with cubs in tow. The largest of the three family dogs started engaging the bear which is taking swipes with its paws as the other two dogs go frantic. The kid was brave and lucky to not get swiped with a paw or bit by the bear. Looks like the kid was operating on pure instinct to protect her dogs.
