[IN THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AREA]
SOUTHBOUND TRAFFIC IS REDUCED TO 2 LANES AT KELBAKER RD /IN BAKER/ (SAN BERNARDINO CO) - DUE TO A VEHICLE FIRE

A single car accident can really mess things up. One time, on my way to the city, it took about two hours to take what is normally a twenty minute trip.
It was involved in an accident and it was taking two lanes of a three lane road, at a vital part of the highway 16.
I heard Vegas was solidly booked all weekend. Appears the players are back and ready to blow their stimulus! :)
Does this have to do with the “Bug Inspection Station” just in side the Calif State line?
Live in Vegas, too, and hubby has been giving me hourly reports about the traffic going back to CA on the15. What a mess! Not sure why people do this to themselves. Even if there are no accidents, or it’s not a holiday weekend, it’s horrendous almost every Sunday. Crazy.
The solution is obviously High Speed Rail Vegas-LA.

So glad I live in the middle of nowhere.
Hahaha all the Dumba## returning to la with zero winnings
What a desolate stretch of dirt.
I’ve driven it several times.
Today it was intensely sunny and over 100deg.
I wonder how many vehicles overheated.
Nor the usual 85 mph...😟
Where did they get the money for a long weekend in LV?
I was told nobody would work.
Oh, that’s awful! When I used to live in Ventura county, I drove to Vegas several weekends a year. I knew to leave Vegas early Sunday morning to beat the rush of LA-bound traffic!
They’ve shut down the 15 near the Cajon Pass, it’s massive DUI check point.
Sundays returning to CA from LV, NV are
always bad. National holidays move it
to Monday and extra traffic. The same trip
south on a Saturday night is painless.
Escapees from California quarantine heading home?
Anyone with an ounce of sense would know to stay in Vegas until Tuesday and then cruise home on a nearly empty interstate. Monday night hotel rates would have been low.
