Yes, I understand all that. But at what cost?

I guess in the not-too-distant future all cars will look identical, a result of that “perfect” functional design. Same perfect aerodynamic shape, same everything. This same general idea could apply for any product going forward. Who knows, maybe even humans one day, via bio-engineering. Hard to improve off perfection.
