now this is a pretty cool idea. Errosion makes the 45 ft banks steeper and it crusts to form razor sharp crystals.

1.5 miles built in one month - salt hardens over time in the sun and rain; its surface becoming sharp as knives and the 45 degree slope is very hard to climb - they hope to finish it in 1 year. Will slow down smugglers, illegals and guns from entering Israel - also lessens the burden on the IDF guarding the border and is ecologically friendly thing to do with salt from various chemical industries. Keep in mind that Jordan is basically a ‘Palestinian’ state run by Hashimites.
