I saw the reeling in the years era of steely Dan in late 72 or early 73. Denny Dias is an incredible musician and laid down one of the best constructed guitar solos I have ever heard in the Do it-again song. Nice touch with the electric sitar.
It’s been clinically proven that anyone listening to Steely Dan immediately gets way cooler and pretty funky. This effect is over as soon as the song ends. Srsly. I read that somewhere. ;)
Thanks for the great tune!
Disco is dead.
Definitely true if listening to Black Cow or Any Major Dude Will Tell You (and dozens of others).
“Hey 19” is mine!
Our rescue sheherd/lab mix was named ‘Josie’, but after she counter surfed and ate half my steak and cheese, she became ‘Josey Wales’.
I love Steely Dan. I did get to see them in concert and they performed all there songs to perfection.
I loved their album, Gaucho. For me it will always bring back summer memories of it playing all day long and many pitchers of pina colada.

As a longtime SD fan, “Do It Again” is just beginning to grow on me. Same could be said for “Show Biz Kids.” To live during the years SD was founded and flourishes is one of many fine blessings in life.
Steely Dan was amazing.
RIP Walter.

“Only a Fool Would Say That” is peak Steely Dan to me. These guys prove there was awesome rock/pop music in the 70s.
One of the soundtracks of my life...
Dogs rule! God love them!😀
I was fortunate to twice see them live.
That song was a response to John Lennon's "Imagine".
Got 17 of their CDs
Skunk Baxter played lead on Do it Again.
