I posted before watching it, and that is the proper, aggressive, dismissive, and belittling response to that stupidity.

I get this a lot from college students I talk to. That and “you don’t understand Marxism” or “you never read Marx”. These kids REALLY are being indoctrinated, that is no exaggeration which is what I initially thought.
I was just listening today to Dinesh D’Souza’s “United States of Socialism” audiobook, and in it he said that, Venezuela in 1950 had the fourth largest domestic GDP per capita in the world.
And look at it now.
The same people...THE SAME TYPE THAT DID IT TO VENEZUELA...are trying to do exactly this to our country.
Well, on the good side, we haven’t had to hear much from cheese-dicks like Sean Penn or Danny Glover, but I suppose it is because they are so busy trying to bring THAT to US.

He is GREAT here. He could have gone on about absolute power corrupting (he did touch that) and how degrading communism is to the human spirit and contrary to human nature. You have perfect ‘equity’ and ‘equality,’ so nobody works.
It’s a lot like the tens of millions of Americans sitting home doing nothing right now because the Biden Bucks keep showing up in their mailboxes.
Of the three classes, my anger currently rests with the largest group in my opinion...the compromised or craven ones.
The RINO's, well...we know who they are for the most part. And like the frog that takes the scorpion across the river on its back only to get stung and drown in the river crying "Why"...it is in their nature. We should expect that from them.
They really don’t care.
They loved Uncle Joe Stalin and covered up his attrocities for decades as they partnered willingly with the KGB.
They loved Che Guevara and Fidel Castro up to the end of their lives and beyond.
They loved Chairman Mao and quoted from his Little Red Book even the parts of Maoist radicalism where it was said “kill your parents”.
They loved the North Vietnamese military and forgave their warcrimes.
They loved Hugo Chavez.
They loved Jim Jones.
They loved it all.
They have given up any pretense of restraint, and it is the utter abandonment of fiscal restraint that has me frightened. What is it now, six trillion in proposed spending, and they aren’t even stopping to breathe before the next proposal is out of their mouths.
I am pretty scared we are going into Weimar Republic territory.

I saw a great youtube video last night between Peterson and Stephen Fry. It was an 1 hour 38 minutes of two great minds going toe to toe.
Can’t get enough of true intellectual debate and thought.
