People who make that particular claim need to be challenged on it quickly and brought to earth hard with no mercy.
Those who make that claim should be sent to Venezuela or North Korea so they can show them how it’s done.
it is completely absurd that any adherence to Communist ideology or iconography is acceptable in polite company. Wearing a Che t-shirt should be viewed in the same light as wearing a Swastika. That it is not by much of our Left says much about them, none of it good.

Pick a place. Any place. And we’ll allow your little experiment. Do it. Recruit fellow communists to come to wherever. Let them all work for the State and wait for the handouts from the State. Round up your college professors and college student communists and live it out.
They wouldn’t last a month.
