A multimillion-dollar home in Sammamish is at the center of an ongoing investigation, as squatters continue to break in and make the home their own.
“The amount of guns, drugs, etcetera that were confiscated out of that place are not for personal use or for any good reason,” Sammamish Police Chief Dan Pingrey said. “I totally recognize how frustrating it is for the neighborhood and it’s just as frustrating for us to be honest with you.”
The homeowner lives overseas, but a few people living locally help maintain the home with routine checkups. One of those workers stopped by the home and found 12 guns, bulletproof vests, more than 15,000 fentanyl pills, heroin, meth, and more than $40,000 in cash.
The worker called 911 and police arrived on scene.
“As we were beginning to take a look at our next steps, an unlicensed motorcycle showed up with two people on it,” Pingrey said.
Neighbors identified the two people as the squatters and both were arrested for burglary, according to Pingrey. Both were out of jail within days and headed back to the home, bringing more people with them.
“After they were out of jail, we had a large group trying to get back into the house,” Pingrey said. “No one was supposed to be there. The homeowners were not allowing anyone to stay there.”
Pictures taken by a neighbor show police vehicles lined up on the street with officers watching, as the squatters filled a U-Haul truck with items inside. Another picture shows a garage full of appliances, including an ATM.

Something, either a two-digit state code, or country if outside usa
Many spend time looking for that info, a waste of their time I say.
Where is Sammammamish?
How do short-term squatters have the same rights as the homeowner? Are things really that screwed up out there?
WHAT THE HELL HAS HAPPENED TO OUR POLICE???
How the hell is this legal???????????????
Outside of Seattle....Beautiful lake area.
How to drug dealers (and that quantity gets classified as intent to deliver) get released and to go back and “get more stuff”?
In Houston there is a large scale criminal operation where they are stealing thousands of appliances from new homes under construction. the Soros DA has repeatedly cut them loose with a slap on the wrist.
Black robed judicial tyrants gave them those rights.
My wife and I were a bit concerned about something like this when we left our home for five weeks. But our place is a bit out of the way.
If it happened to me, the solution is simple. I walk in with m semi-auto shotgun and ask them to leave. If they refuse, they get shot dead. All of them. I’m quite serious here. It is raw justice. It’s not vengeance. It is not anger. It is literally protecting my family from an real, active physical threat.
And if they agree to leave, they leave IMMEDIATELY, and I will put things in the yard they can take with them that are not mine. Cops are not necessary for this sort of thing. I can handle it myself. I’ve also not seen a cop near my house in a decade except for when my neighbor’s cows broke through the fence into my yard.
Cops are more for urban environments and to clean up the mess afterward.
Is it time yet for the three S’s?
My understanding is, that you can use deadly force if necessary to defend a dwelling. The people watching out for the property for the rightful owner would probably do well to come back armed and forcibly remove them, with some sort of written authorization from the owners. They can call the cops if they dare.
If it’s isolated, and the cops won’t do anything more, interesting things might possibly happen to these low-lifes.
You can but if the DA says you can't (think a Soros DA), then you may be on trial for murder, despite what the law allows.
This is easy to fix.
Notify the cops that a gang of white supremacist extremist terrorists have occupied the property and are planning genocide.
The FBI will arrive on the scene with military vehicles faster than you can say “Nanzi”.
Make Crime Illegal Again
“D**n, that was a terrible termite infestation! But Vikane works pretty well. Oh my gosh! There were people in the house!”
Unbelievable.....We are going downhill at breakneck speed....
