PING!
All the navigation apps will have to be updated now.
It’s federally mandated age discrimination. PA has done the same thing. When you are old and have spent a lifetime going places you remember the old exit numbers. Them they change the number and you give directions using the old number to someone and they get lost. Makes it look like you are senile. Just kinda kidding. This falls squarely in the category if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. It is just a waste of money.
I can tell you that in Eastern MA, I find this annoying. It’s not as if you’re covering hundreds of miles. Where exits are every couple of miles, the old sequential style of exit label works better.
“Federal Highway Administration requirements to have exit numbers based on mile markers”
Then when some leftie decides we need to be on the metric system, they’ll have to switch them all around again. Great idea.
Lol. We just went through several years of corrupt never-ending I-15 construction locally. Your turn in Massachooshitz. They say it’s going to take 10 years. 20 is more likely once the public dollars start flowing.
They are long overdue to have the exits and interchanges match the mile markers. There are still a few states that have the old system.
JOBS PROJECT....
Efffing thieves!!!!!¡!!!!!!
Rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
The whole place is messed up.
Rhode Island is the worst. They make no sense at all and regard themselves as the worlds smartest people.
Why in the heck is the FEDERAL government concerning itself with exit markers? And cutting off funds? How many millions of dollars is this going to cost nationwide?
What, the DC Beltway?
