Stephen Colbert announced on his show that it would return to the Ed Sullivan Theater next month. The audience will be fully vaccinated, he said, so that means at least one U.S. senator will not be welcome: Rand Paul. Colbert said that Paul had “Randsplained” his decision not to be vaccinated, citing his “natural immunity” after contracting Covid-19.
“Senator Paul has been a bit of a skeptic of how bad Covid really is, which is probably why he got Covid,” Colbert said on Monday.
Paul also said health officials needed to “prove that the vaccine is better than being infected” and producing antibodies.
“No, they don’t. They don’t have to prove that seatbelts are better than accidents, or that wearing a parachute is better than hitting the earth at terminal velocity, or that having hot spikes driven into your ears is better than listening to Rand Paul — it’s self-evident. Kind of a misnomer to call them comedians since they are not funny.

Colbert, the self-styled “funnyman”, is very bitter over his sister’s loss in the election as a D for the Charleston congressional seat. He is a poor loser, just as he is a poor “comedian”.
The push to ignore and disparage antibodies obtained naturally vs those acquired via vaccine is just one more piece of madness thrown onto the Covid pile.
Those two things she has aren’t brains....

I had purchased satellite radio as I had long drives to work late at night. There were three comedy channels. The “comedians” were almost entirely political. Nothing anti- Bush, as he was president, was funny. Putting my bias aside, you could tell the joke wasn’t funny because the audience didn’t laugh. Instead they applauded. That meant they agreed, but whatever “joke” presented was not funny. I cancelled satellite as I didn’t want to support a venue that was so obviously anti-conservative. And, as we all know, GWB was not a conservative. He just wasn’t the “correct” flavor of liberal.
I haven’t owned a TV since the OJ trial. I may have seen two movies in the theater since that time. But entertainment is so laced by liberal poison, I don’t watch any of it.
