My mom basically said the same thing more than a few times.
Being forgetful at 88 may have been the reason she said it so many times :)
She was a teen during WWII, was very poor growing up, had an abusive father, a sick husband and a crazy son..me :)
But she ALWAYS did and still does fight.
Went to nursing school at 40 after pop got sick so she could provide.
SHE is 100x tougher than 50 percent of the men in this country.
At least.
And good for Sammy. What a patriotic thing to say.
