I have yet to hear anyone describe any alleged criminal activity that happened within the prescribed statute of limitations.
While the state of NY could sue Trump (or anyone) civilly for back taxes as there is no statute of limitations for back taxes (either federally or in most states), there is a time limit for CRIMINAL violations except in a very limited number of crimes, like murder, rape, treason etc.
Maybe NY is going to waive those pesky statutes under the ‘Trump exclusion,’ which honestly isn’t something I’d put past this partisan hack of an AG.
Its the beginning of the end...again.
