I’m afraid the new 1 May cycle count regulation has rendered this data non useful. Suggest tracking Excess Deaths from the CDC page. Updated weekly on Wednesday and you have to look back 5 weeks.
It’s about the only thing left not corrupted.

It appears that those who offer little to the argument are out in full force tonight. Thank you for actually presenting a standardized data set that continually affirms the decrease of cases, the control of the pandemic, and the efficacy of vaccination. The disruptors will disrupt. Just remember you live rent free in their heads.
Cycle count does not effect deaths. Deaths and hospitalizations have always been a better indicator than cases. Pretty much everyone here has been saying “cases don’t mean anything” for at least 9 months. The lower cycle count has resulted in a significant increase in the new deaths/new cases from about 1.4% to 2%, by eliminating most false positives.

Countries like the US that keep changing the way they count cases make these trend charts meaningless.
Misunderstanding. I am talking about declaration of infection, dead or alive.
The initial CDC stuff was about reducing workload investigating breakthroughs that were Covid positive at higher cycle counts. They said not to submit reports unless Covid positive at lower (27) cycle count.
But then it appeared that non vaccinated people could be declared Covid positive with cycle counts above 28.
This is just wrong. Don’t have to suspect any sort of conspiracy. It’s just wrong to have different cycle count definitions for vaccinated vs unvaccinated, whether dead or alive.

Agreed. Cycle count should be the same regardless of vaccination status. I seem to remember 25 amplification cycles for the most common test found about 99% of clinically significant cases. Anyone who is negative at 28 cycles but positive at 30 or 35 is almost certainly a false positive, regardless of vaccination or previous infection status. You might have a tiny amount of dead viral RNA in you that your immune system already killed, but that is not clinically significant.
Your tag line claims to seek the truth, but only if you agree with "the truth".
The "disrupters" are anyone that disagrees with the phony world meter, left leaning slant on ALL SUBJECTS, not just over blown covid death numbers.
There was a time, Doc, just a few months ago, that you were rational on this subject, but you got woke.

The number of conspiracy theories are rampant snd the ratcheting up of abuse of those of us who express counter arguments to vaccination is quite ridiculous. I have been privately threatened to be doxxed, been impugned professionally by Having one particularly rabid member ask me how I had time to post if I am really a doctor (for 20 years free republic has been a source of news and analysis that i look forward to reading after work). We have arm chairs experts promoting half truths for an agenda. And when someone says the emperor has no clothes the abuse gets worse
That’s why I changed my tag line. Sometimes after getting hit several times one swings back.
You and I can disagree all day long and still be civil and kind. One of the detractors admitted to someone else to being proud of being a bully. That’s the crap that happens at DU. I am not woke on the issue. I have evaluated the data from what I see clinically everyday for the last 18 months and made educated judgments. Nothing more snd nothing less. Some, however, seem to take it personally to the point of character assassination if you disagree. Such are the alinsky techniques I reference.
If we went to find the truth we need to debate the facts and opinions eith candor, intelligence and good will. Conspiracy theories hardly meet any of these conditions.
