All of them :) are my favorite because they are ALL effective at various times in a war.
(OK, it's not a Sun Tzu quote but it sure applies in this day and age)
The most important one ALWAYS though is:
“If you do not know your enemy, you will LOSE EVERY TIME (TOTALLY).”
This has been on my blog for over 10 years, since day one.
If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle - Sun Tzu (Art of War, Chapter 3)
I like your tagline! :)
Amen, I just posted that!! You are so right on!!!
“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles.”
Amen!
“Kill them all, let God sort it out”
I’ve read the “art of war” several times and I know that quote is in there, somewhere.
Victorious warriors win first, then go to battle, Defeated warriors fo to battle, then seek to win.
“If your enemy is secure at all points, be prepared for him. If he is in superior strength, evade him. If your opponent is temperamental, seek to irritate him. Pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant. If he is taking his ease, give him no rest. If his forces are united, separate them. If sovereign and subject are in accord, put division between them. Attack him where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected.”
You should read Art of War, it’s an extraordinary small work. Probably more like a pamphlet than a book.
Optionally there are several freely downloadable renditions of it as audiobooks as well, all are in the 1-2 hour range. That’s one single trip to the gym.

“Nuke ‘em ‘til they glow, then shoot ‘em in the dark.”
Nice!
If your enemy is in the process of making a mistake, do not correct him.
‘If you are so horrible that you can’t possibly win, steal th3 elections’
Oh wait, sorry. Wrong book of war quotes
“The mainstream media lies. And they lie bigly.”
(And if Sun Tzu didn’t really say that, he should have.)
My copy of Sun Tzu is in storage or I would find the paragraph. But Mao Tse-tung, echoing Sun Tzu, stated “It can therefore be said that politics is war without bloodshed, while war is politics with bloodshed”. I think Sun Tzu used half a page. Except for this quote I think Mao’s his little red book is terrible reading.
