Introducing our new puppy, Shasta. 9 weeks old. Beau names his dogs after Native American tribes or warriors. She is an English Coon Hound. There were three to choose from and I wanted all three, but Beau said no. :( Meanie! Shasta won out due to her cute face and her beautiful markings. Ain't nothin' prettier than a speckled pup! After sharing quarters with 11 other litter mates, I expect some 'I'M LONELY' yowling, tonight.

Congratulations on getting the cutie pie puppy! I always want a puppy. Then I remember how easy it is to have one dog. We used to always have 2 dogs. Kinda miss having 2.

Had a Red Heeler/Lab mix named Kiowa and a cat named Keechi( keech-eye)(they are both departed). Kiowa is easy, yet Keechi were a band of Caddo: Keechi meant fish.
