Same thing here up by KC. Constant clouds and rain, my yard (about 3/4 of an acre)is turning into a meadow. (No no tractor or sickle bar!)
In a KC suburb, but located on an edge of the bluff. Everything is down from here or everything would be rotting out.
(Augie, are the perch having any problems? Seems like good weather for them! :)
It’s nice today-I’m hoping things get dried out a little.
We got a brief gap in the rain today, and I took advantage of it.
Trimmed the low-hangers on the tomato plants, and then gave them a dose of Dragoon Dust.
Planted the rhubarb divisions from Jung’s that landed in my mailbox yesterday. Planted some basil and marsh milkweed seed in starter cells and stuck those on the windowsill in the potting shed.
Ran two tanks of gas through the weed whacker, and sprayed the road slime off of my truck and Mrs. Augie’s car.
Now I need a nap.
