The World Health Organisation (WHO) has stated that it has suspended Gilead Sciences’ antiviral drug remdesivir, which was touted as COVID-19 treatment, from its prequalification list—- an official list of medicines used as a benchmark for procurement by developing countries.
In an emailed response to news agency Reuters, WHO spokesperson Tarik Jasarevic said,”Yes we have suspended it from the PQ (prequalification list). The suspension is a signal to countries that WHO, in compliance with the treatment guidelines, does not recommend countries procure the drug for COVID
Earlier on Friday, the WHO had warned that the antiviral drug remdesivir should not be used to treat COVID patients, no matter how ill they are as there is no evidence it works.
And yet my aunt was given it in the hospital and made an immediate turn around.
Coincidence? Maybe…
I don't know enough about it, but certainly cannot take their word for it. One wonders if they will ever find 'some evidence' that Ivermectin works.
Curing is not allowed
They want us to have the frankenjab.
RE: And yet my aunt was given it in the hospital and made an immediate turn around.
This could explain it:
‘90% COVID patients who were given fake Remdesivir survived’
So stock up on it and keep it on hand. The WHO is the CHI-COM mouthpiece, who lied continuously throughout this pandemic. Has zero credibility on science and everything it spouts. Turd world medicine run by Communist tyrants.
Much better to use monoclonal antibody therapy since there’s tons of evidence it actually works. That’s the same treatment President Trump got in the hospital. Not Remdesivir, not Ivermectin, not HCQ, not colloidal silver, not ozone, and not sugar pills. The President of the United States was hospitalized with a deadly illness, and the best doctors on Earth gave him monoclonal antibody therapy because they knew it was the best chance to help him.
And boy did it. He went from being in a rapidly worsening state to leaving the hospital very quickly. Many others have experienced similarly impressive turn-arounds with that treatment.
Dr. Paul Marik at EVMS (and colleagues) has said it doesn’t work for about a year. Did the Gilead Science check to WHO bounce?

Some questions:
1) At what stage of the disease do you apply this therapy? Can you administer it to yourself at home to prevent hospitalization?
2) How much does this treatment cost? ( from start to finish till the patient is cured )
HCQ and ivermectin are way better; https://c19early.com/
Follow the money... I mean science.
WHO = Witchcraft Health Organization
WHO passed a Medicine or Surgical Board Certification
to pretend to be a physician?
NO. Oregon Kate Brown ordered HCQ outlawed so they could push that expensive useless drug.
Everything on the shelf cures Covid except Remdesivir and Windex
Placebo effect. Believing in it may have been enough to get her over the hump.
Typically as early as possible, but there's widespread understanding that it's still pretty effective even after hospitalization. Patients who were heading to the ICU - if not the morgue - can show rapid improvement. It's not a silver bullet, but it's by far the best available option.
"Can you administer it to yourself at home to prevent hospitalization?"
It can be give on an outpatient basis, but I don't believe there's any provision yet for doing it yourself. Currently it's given only by IV. Keep in mind these are bleeding edge, brand new treatments. I don't think they even had an EUA when President Trump got his treatment.
"2) How much does this treatment cost? ( from start to finish till the patient is cured )"
$1,250 for the medicine itself, plus the cost of the infusion (which will obviously vary significantly based on where you are). That's US cost. Costs for drugs in other countries are often massively lower, mainly because they couldn't afford it otherwise.
The effectiveness of a treatment is not based on its cost. Sometimes there's a cheap answer to a medical problem. Sometimes the best answer costs quite a bit. What it then comes down to is: what's your life worth to you?
i don’t have much trust in the who, but was never convinced from the basic gilead pharma paper (invitro) that remdesivir could work on covid19 as an off label treatment. to me it was much more likely that they were trying for a fast buck on a failed drug with their claim. hcq action against sars covid2 was much more convincing at the invitro research level.
stanford had an initial study that claimed some small effect against covid19 but heard nothing after that. i think yale was doing a study too, but heard nothing subsequent to that either. so crickets on remdesivir.
the fact that in their own paper they play directly with serious genetic modification in the cell was enough to convince me to stay away from it.
so not a surprise to me.
Poor Trump. If only he would have known he was taking non-WHO approved medication. Why didn’t someone tell him only vaccines can save us? For that matter, why didn’t someone warn me not to take Ivermectin?
