KATY, Texas (KTRK) -- Four family members, seeking revenge, have been charged with murder after a man was cornered, chased down and shot to death in what deputies now believe is a case of mistaken identity.
Eddie Clark III, 29, was shot Monday night just around the corner from his home in the Westminster Landing subdivision in northwest Harris County.
Joe Argueta, 19, along with his mother and father, 39-year-old Florinda Argueta and 45-year-old Luis Argueta, plus his uncle, 29-year-old Margarito Alcantar, are all charged with murder.
The mother and son have been arrested. The father and uncle are on the run, deputies believe. Warrants have been issued for their arrests.
"This is an example of taking the law into your own hands," a hearing officer admonished Joe Argueta in court Wednesday morning. "Not going through the proper authorities to resolve any other harm or destruction that was being done to your own residence or your own home. It still doesn't justify taking the law into your own hands and mistaking the person."
Harris County Sheriff's deputies were called to the 17100 block of Hilton Hollow around 11:30p.m. Clark had crashed his Dodge Challenger into a tree. He was found with a fatal gunshot wound a block away.
A neighbor's home security video captured some of the confrontation.
Boxed in by cars that deputies say were driven by the Argueta family, the video shows Clark turn around and speed down the street as he was chased by people on foot. The sound of the crash was also captured on video. Joe Argueta admitted to having a gun and firing multiple shots at the car, court records said.

These people chased down the wrong car - they confused a Challenger with a Charger - and murdered a neighbor on his way home.
Well, they all look alike.
So these criminals are all going to flee south of the border with 2 on the run, and the other 2 on bail? They should be tried, convicted, and hung. It should all take place in less than one week. But, of course, we’ll be lucky if they ever are brought to trial.
Ten to one they tried to go through law enforcement channels, but got told to do that one thing up a rope...

As an aside...the FIB lists hispanics as White when they commit crimes but as a separate group when they are victims.
Obviously, an effort to skew interracial crime statistics.

Haven’t we deported murderers and rapists in the past so “we” didn’t have to pay for their time in jail, and then they simply walk freely in Mexico or even cross the border again?
Joe Argueta made his $50,000 bond and was admonished by the judge. And he admits to the shooting.
Such is justice in Rat infested Houston. It was a hard decision for the judge because 2 protected demographics were involved. The ideal of equal justice before the law is apparently dead.

To the Left, a “black” life only matters when a “white” takes it away. Compare to the Ahmaud Arbery case. Both stories involve people chasing down someone they suspect. In this one, the people didn’t try to hold the victim at gunpoint. They chased him down and murdered him. Waiting for the outrage...
