Keeping under 30,000
Excellent trend
Thursday and Friday tend to be bigger days — probably some back reporting, but the trend continues to hold in a standard data set, so good news.

Lets see how long it takes before the Q court arrives.

How many people who were vaccinated also had Covid?

I guess they were running low on their cut of the COVID extortion racketeering payout and need a bump from the WHO fund

Japan is losing control at just the wrong time and with no natural herd immunity (94/1,000,000 death rate) and a vaccination rate of <5%, I don’t see how they don’t cancel the Olympics.

What a Cluster****. There will be Seppuku.

At the very least, they should be able to vaccinate all the Olympians and their coaches. No fans. We should be able to donate our surplus vaccines to IOC now.

For every athlete there are at least 20 support staff/local logistics: Hotels/food/transportation/venue changes/pomp, etc.

They can say “F*** It, kill grandma” or they can lock it all down and have the worst. olympics. ever.

They are two months out with a rising death curve and 110M Japanese for the virus to chew thru. Magic 8-ball says “all signs point to Cancel”.

That would be a blow to Japanese national pride if they do not host the Olympics. They’ll have rules. Maybe lock down the workers at Olympic Village so they won’t go back home and transmit the virus and kill Grandma.

The Olympics must go on. I’ve been waiting five years to see how much more revealing the female diver’s suits are compared to the last Olympics.

This is important.

It might be all dudes in mankini’s. Don’t forget the IOC is the wokest of the woke.

And its all up to them whether it is cancelled or not. If Japan cancels, they pay Billions. If the IOC cancels, Japan is off the hook.

If the IOC decides panic porn is better for bringing about the new world order then they’ll call it off in the end of June. The curve has to start bending down in the next Two weeks, or its over.

If they have to, they'll pull off a version of what NBA did last year. Form a bubble over the Olympic Village, so to speak. It worked in Orlando for the NBA playoffs.

Men’s Basketball is 1/2 page in a 31 page schedule, with 2X as many teams playing at least 1 game. Suffice to say, if 1 player has covid, any opposing player/ref can get it, the other players on the team have to quarantine for 14 days and there isn’t room in the schedule to reschedule.

Vaccinations are NOT mandatory for the athletes and the IOC is all about the don’t ask about health.

Unlike Floridians, the Japanese are rule followers and those rules are if someone tests positive for covid, they don’t say whatever, no big deal, they shut EVERYTHING down and scrub the place in hazmat suits.

Fair enough. There's no guarantee that there will be no covid. You can't just control this virus. Laissez-Faire attitude that we saw in Florida is the proper way to go about all of this. We have to continue to live our lives. But the Japanese are not like that.
