I had been excited about greitens running, but his resignation as governor in disgrace is troubling. I know that some of what he was charged with was bogus but not all of it. His wife divorced him over his infidelities. If his own wife can’t trust him ,how can we. Mccloskey proved his mettle; he stood up to a mob!

all charges were dropped in May 2018. Greitens resigned from office on June 1, 2018,[8] after the Missouri Legislature commenced a special session to consider impeachment.[9] In February 2020, the Missouri Ethics Commission reported that its campaign investigation did not find wrongdoing on Greitens's part individually, or that he knew of two reporting issues that it found with his campaign.

So he quit after all charges were dropped and before the special session had finished it's findings of no wrongdoing. Seems very odd. When times are tough, quit?
