Demi Lovato is non-binary and is changing their pronouns from she/her to they/them, the singer has told fans.
Non-binary people don't identify as male or female, and tend not to conform to gender norms of either.
"Today is a day I'm so happy to share more of my life with you all," Demi, who's 28, wrote on Twitter.
"I am proud to let you know that I identify as non-binary & will officially be changing my pronouns to they/them moving forward."
Demi said they came to understand their gender identity after spending time doing "healing and self-reflective work" over the past year.
Using they/them as pronouns "best represents the fluidity I feel in my gender expression", the Sorry (Not Sorry) singer added.

The thing over pronouns is mystifying, not that I will ever attempt to grab the threads of the newly correct implementation rules in order to understand it.
I wonder if English teachers will be fired for teaching the rules for pronoun antecedent agreement now, or grading essays.
There are literately royal families in this world because one of their ancestors had the stones to demand that others call them that.

I disagree. Any society has a certain percentage of loo-loos, but the manifestations tend to be different in different places and times.
Still trying to wrap my head around the binary/non-binary monikers. If they would display their genders in terms of 0 and 1 it might be easier to equate.
Computers should evolve to trans-binaries too, no? 😂

Here’s what a NY judge had to say when a “non-binary” defendant demanded that the judge address the defendant as “they” or “them”:
“I will not be using a plural pronoun for a singular person.”
