What is going on is not something that just popped up...it has been moving in this direction for some time. Like any other weed, once you don't stifle it at the beginning, it grows and becomes more onerous as time goes on plus becomes harder to extinguish. One of the mile posts was the reducing the physical fitness tests requirements. This came on top of the making the military sound like college i.e. you are preparing for your future (not necessarily in the military).

The most recent mile post is the promotion of a "diverse" military. Just what the hell does that have to do with winning wars, or police actions, or even running a decent parade?? NADA. We are so screwed.
