This period almost feel like the "phony war" during WWII just before the German blitzkrieg into the Low Countries and France.

Both sides are woefully unprepared for a major war and the South is moving its Capital. Eventually, they'll get to the bloodletting.

I staying about 10 days ahead on my news post prep. I’m starting to see the place name Manassas Gap start to show up frequently. Maybe something will develop there.
