If you see or record something flying that you can't identify, the default explanation should not be "it's a vehicle built by an advanced alien civilization that has conquered the physical laws that prevent interstellar travel (and, by default, time travel) and are skipping about our atmosphere and buzzing our pilots".
I'm not saying it's impossible (probably is) but I'm saying there are literally hundreds or thousands of more likely explanations that must be eliminated before accepting the least likely explanation as fact.
