BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Authorities in Jefferson County, Alabama are charging a woman with murder after they say she ran over her longtime boyfriend with his own car several times.
The incident happened Saturday night in Birmingham, on Pawnee Village Road, and was captured on surveillance video, according to the Jefferson County, Alabama Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office says at about 10 p.m., 46-year-old Tomeka Sims was with the victim when they got into some type of disagreement.
Sims got into the victim's vehicle and drove away -- apparently dragging the unidentified victim, who WBRC reports was a man in his sixties.
The sheriff's office says the video shows Sims returning to the victim, slowly approaching him as he lied on the ground.
The video shows Sims drove over the victim "multiple times," according to the sheriff's office, and then drove away.
But she apparently wasn't done. The sheriff's office says Sims returned to the scene a second time, and tried to drive over the victim again. This time, she wasn't able to, because the victim had moved out of harm's way, under a nearby tractor trailer bed.
The victim later died. Authorities are now charging Sims with murder.

Oh, Alabama?
Never mind.

Kinda looks like a tranny. And that might explain the action a little better, maybe.
Not guilty if the car was a Hemi.
Tony Soprano: “I thought I told you to back off Beansie!” Richie Aprile: “I did....then I put it in drive!”
It’s called “thoroughness”...
Our side needs to hire her to handle communist protesters...
No wonder she ran over him. Lying ba$#×××.
I gotta hear both sides
“Consider it a breakup.”
Show some compassion. Her boyfriend just died.
Looks like she plays for both teams and will have a fun time in jail.
And the Menendez brothers are still orphans.
That's all I need to know. They don't call it "The Tragic City" for nothing. As a transplant Alabamian, I stay FAR away from Birmingham.
“If I had a son, he’d look just like . . .”
The spell check feature here doesn’t check for grammar.
Nah, I think his last word was “Ow!”
Maybe he was on the ground telling falsehoods?
Looks like a 17 year old “he” to me.
