Fully vaccinated guests are free to attend Hersheypark without masks, according to a recent announcements from the amusement park’s Twitter page.
Citing the recent update regarding masks from the Center for Disease Control, the full operational update post from Hersheypark stated that “face coverings and social distancing for those who have been fully vaccinated will no longer be required when visiting Hersheypark.”
According to the posts, the new policy was “effective immediately.”
“Throughout the pandemic, we have followed the guidance from our national and state health experts to provide a safe environment for our guests and team members,” the post read. “The CDC and the Pennsylvania Department of Health concluded that those who are fully vaccinated are no longer required to wear face coverings in most situations.”
The update from Hersheypark emphasized that the mask exemption only applied to guests who have been fully vaccinated. Vaccinated guests are also still welcome to continue wearing face coverings.
“It’s important to note that all guests two years of age and older who are not fully vaccinated must wear face coverings during their visit, except while eating or drinking,” the statement said.
The announcement concluded that there are no current measures to verify with visitors whether or not they have been vaccinated, and the plan for the immediate future will rely on guest cooperation with the policy.
“At this time we will rely on our guests to accurately follow the guidelines based on their vaccination status,” it said. “It is important that we all continue to remain vigilant and work together to prioritize the health and safety of those around us.”
Ahh, so the government website is lying when it says vaccination records aren’t government records.
Well, I expect the government to lie. No shocker there. More dishonest than the press.

This pisses me off. The left meets resistance to their attempt to legislate a Covid vaccination passport, so they as usual try to go around it by coercing businesses to basically do it for them. What pisses me off is nobody calls it. Nobody exposes the scam.

It is a Federal crime to forge the CDC COVID-19 vaccination cards. It is a Federal crime to have/use one. It is a Federal crime to make/sell one.
When exactly? When will this happen?
Because it’s been 6 months and there’s no sign of that yet. So when is this going to happen?
The article does not state how one proves they have been vaccinated.
These businesses, schools and others that are pushing for “if you been vaccinated” are actually pushing for a Vaccine Passport as the proof to show one has been vaccinated. But if they can have a VP for COVID, violating HIPA, they can demand to put other things in that same passport. For example, you might be required to prove you have 20/20 vision or do not have a certain disease. This is just another way to divide America beyond the color of the skin. By dividing people based on illness will allow people to believe that some are genetically better than another. What does that remind people of? Yep, exactly. It’s a dangerous slippery slope being forced onto us.
sooner than you think...the vaccinated are getting all the goodies- the NY Mets announced special sections and ticket purchases at Citifield for fully vaccinated people this morning. They will do anything necessary to segregate those of us who won’t get the vaccine from the rest of the population- forced to wear a star on our chest is the easiest way.
Remember- ayatollah obama’s clan weighed the option of forcing gun owners to wear a bracelet so they could be identified 24/7- you don’t think the ayatollah’s sidekick won’t try and force those of us who won’t get vaccinated to be identified in public??
Who is “they”?
The NY Mets are a private business operating on private property. They’re allowed to set rules. If people want to enjoy their entertainment services on that private property, they need to abide by those rules. At least, that’s how I was raised.

The Wife and I are going to Hershey in early September. We’re not gonna do the amusement park but are gonna check out there other things there. It would be a lot more fun to go w/o having to wear a mask.

No vaccine is 100%. If someone becomes infected and is in close proximity to another person (whether they are vaccinated or not) there is some level of risk of infecting that person. It’s drastically reduced by getting vaccinated (94% reduction for asymptomatic COVID-19 and 97% reduction for symptomatic COVID-19 per the Israeli data), but not completely eliminated. Further, everyone who does get infected is serving as an incubator for new variants since each viral replication is an opportunity for a replication error that results in a variant that makes things worse for everyone.
This is like saying “if your airbags work, why do I have to keep my hands on the wheel?” Airbags are great, but there’s still risk at play.
If someone chooses to not get vaccinated, that’s fine. That’s their choice. They have every right to make that choice and I’m 100% behind them having that right. But to then lie about it denies others the opportunity to protect themselves. Anyone with AIDS or who is going through chemotherapy or who otherwise has a suppressed immune system (pregnant women come to mind) are at high risk regardless of their vaccination status because their immune system is greatly diminished. If they are told everyone around them is vaccinated, they are judging their level of risk a certain way. If some of the people around them are lying, then that risk is actually much greater than those people are led to believe.
Make your own choices; just don’t lie about them.
Then why does it matter if others had their vaccine or not? Just keep your mask on and hide away in your house for the rest of your life if it bothers you so much.
