Fully vaccinated guests are free to attend Hersheypark without masks, according to a recent announcements from the amusement park’s Twitter page.
Citing the recent update regarding masks from the Center for Disease Control, the full operational update post from Hersheypark stated that “face coverings and social distancing for those who have been fully vaccinated will no longer be required when visiting Hersheypark.”
According to the posts, the new policy was “effective immediately.”
“Throughout the pandemic, we have followed the guidance from our national and state health experts to provide a safe environment for our guests and team members,” the post read. “The CDC and the Pennsylvania Department of Health concluded that those who are fully vaccinated are no longer required to wear face coverings in most situations.”
The update from Hersheypark emphasized that the mask exemption only applied to guests who have been fully vaccinated. Vaccinated guests are also still welcome to continue wearing face coverings.
“It’s important to note that all guests two years of age and older who are not fully vaccinated must wear face coverings during their visit, except while eating or drinking,” the statement said.
The announcement concluded that there are no current measures to verify with visitors whether or not they have been vaccinated, and the plan for the immediate future will rely on guest cooperation with the policy.
“At this time we will rely on our guests to accurately follow the guidelines based on their vaccination status,” it said. “It is important that we all continue to remain vigilant and work together to prioritize the health and safety of those around us.”

As much as I think the CDC is a bunch of head up the butt bureaucrats, the new guidelines are, IMO, useful, in that they give nutless politicians and weenie business managers an “out” to no longer require maskerbation. “The CDC said it was OK. Don’t blame ME!” It’s sad that this kind of thing is needed, but people these days are spineless and can’t make decisions for themselves any more.
Maybe he believes in the constitution being law. Vaccine passports are unconstitutional and illegal.

What’s a vaccine passport? From which government agency does one obtain one? Where is the Federal law requiring that you have one? What information is included on it?

Your information about CDC guidelines is out of date. CDC is no longer recommending that vaccinated people wear a mask. They’ve never stated you can’t go out.
The point is to drastically reduce the risk of contracting COVID-19, of passing it on to others, of having severe symptoms, and or dying from it.

The passport exactly what you were saying the dowcaet couldn’t create. The paper vax card is the passport. There is no other “passport.” Requiring passports is unconstitutional. You said conservatives used to follow the law. The Constution is the law. You need to rethink this

Problem is that CDC symbol on the vaccine card. The vaccination record is a medical record. The vaccine card is a government document. Federal officials have explicitly stated that forging them is a Federal crime.
If you are suggesting that people forge them, you are enticing them to commit a Federal crime.

Have you seen this particular card in person ? In my area people are being given cards printed on something that resembles manila folder paper. Heavy paper.

Viral proteins denature in open air. They require a medium to be suspended within. SARS-CoV-2 mostly resides within respiratory droplets, but can also survive in aerosols for shorter time periods. Masks don’t entirely filter those, but they do reduce the range and volume of droplets and aerosols. This reduces the risk of transmission.
Cloth masks are not nearly as effective as surgical masks, and those are vastly inferior as well to N95 masks. But even a cloth mask is better than nothing, assuming it’s worn properly and has multiple layers of different fiber types.

The website specifies a ‘form’ to complete as part of their reservation system. You cannot see details without purchasing tickets and completing the reservation.
Until a FReeper can confirm, it’s probably assured that at some point during the ‘form’ process you’re supposed to upload an image of your ‘vaccination’ card.
The first person to challenge me for my status in that respect - and their manager/owner/ceo - is going to have a very, very bad day.
I submit that that should be the rule.
