There are always dead bodies, sometimes whole, sometimes partially cremated, floating in the Ganges. They’ve tried to clean it up in recent years for the tourist trade, so I guess it’s better … but maybe not much.

It's a cultural thing in India to set one's dead relatives for a cruise down the Ganges.

Crocodiles in India just love it. It's like ringing a dinner bell.
