I don’t know who this guy was but getting splattered by two vehicles on the highway does not sound like a very pretty way to die.

Bicycles and cars are never a good mix.

“Jahn’s impact can be seen across the world”
I thought, “Don’t people READ what they have written?”
Egad.

" . . . when he failed to brake at a stop sign."
Very common among cyclists, who seem to think the rules of the road don't apply to them.

81 riding a bike. Good for him. He kept his health till the end. Just got off the phone with my mom who's Spending her first Mother's Day without my dad who passed in February at 88. He jogged on his treadmill till he was 84 or 85. He slipped and fell doing some yard work, and while he didn't break his hip he bruised it pretty well and laid him up. It seems like the sudden cessation of his physical activities led to the noticeable onset of dementia and he took a steep decline over the past year before passing.

My thoughts, exactly. What you want to bet the drivers get hounded as being in the wrong, even with video. Can you imagine the way the drivers feel???

No great loss. Ugly modern architecture (an oxymoron). The Germans can sure turn out ugly buildings. For some reason they all look like concrete gas chambers.

Those buildings will make quite a show when they’re demolished with explosives, and the sooner the better.

Those look like apartment buildings that you see in Communist countries.

Jahn’s impact can be seen across the world in designs ranging from the Sony Center in Berlin, Germany, to the Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, Thailand. Phrasing
