Good for him. Mark Levin interviewed him recently. He mentioned that something needed to be done in politics , re: the State Dept. of Safety and the reltionship between government and LEOs.

The video of the Detroit Police confronting BLM (White suburban 20s somethings) was hilarious.
Police went out near the street, one object thrown and Boom! A$$ beaten time. Most cops didn’t have protective gear, no shield, helmets, just went after the punks. A beautiful thing.

The Chief also defied a Judges order not to use pepper spray......some Anti/BLM lawyer actually got a judge to order that.
i know what you mean...i cant find this one video, it was awesome...the riot cops in gear would form their line...but there were a roving crew of plain clothes cops just absolutely blasted anyone that defied the line cops....AHAHAHAHA... especially this one white cop...he was doing some damage!!. ..i gotta find that vid dammit...
put it this way....when he first came to Detroit as Chief, he made a series of commercials imploring Detroit residents to get their C.P.L license!!.....heh....
If he runs as a Democrat, it would be for the same reason that Sheriff David Clarke ran as a Democrat. Still a good choice for Michigan. Pro 2A, pro self defense. A rare case where I would support a Democrat.
Republicans have been after him to run for a few years...they wanted him to run for the Senate and he passed...there were rumblings Trump wanted him to head the F.B.I....one thing is certain, Craig absolutely hates that freak Rashida Talib with a royal passion....and i mean hate!!...heh heh..

He’s the one who, when the Detroit Police SUV was surrounded by shrieking BLM rioters who broke out the back window and pounded on the hood, ordered the officers inside to warn them twice and then to drive on slowly ahead.
One hysterical girl ran in front then, jumped over the hood, hit the hood on the way over, and rolled onto the asphalt. She claimed “police brutality” but lost.
