I admire all your posts. You are not pro or anti vaxxer. You are simply trying to discover the truth.
The problem however is, the truth is not easy to discover and more difficult to conclude. Because covid is a brand new lab created virus and it is simply premature to “conclude” anything.
I am 100% against ANY mandates for medical procedures. That includes vaccines.
I took the VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Effects Report System) numbers on a recent date, and divided that number by how many Americans had received the vaccine on that date. That gives fraction representing problems with covid vaccines. Multiply that fraction by 100 and you get Percentage of people who had adverse side effects, and I came up with 0.002%. In other words the vaccines on that date were 99.998% safe.
I don’t know if the covid vaccines are effective in preventing death from covid. My main point here always has been that these vaccines are a big nothing burger in terms of causing problems. Very few medical procedures can boast 99.998% safety. Elective surgery for nose job is much more risky than covid vaccines. My nephew is a plastic surgeon in Florida with multi-million dollar annual practice. He would kill to achieve 99.998% safety record.
In my own case, as a 81 year old, it has been 155 days past the 2nd shot of Moderna vaccine, and zero side effects. My wife is in her 4th year of fighting stage-4 cancer and her immune system is highly compromised from all the chemo & radiation and surgeries. She also has no adverse effects from the vaccine after 155 days. So I can stick my neck out and pontificate that these covid vaccines are a big nothing burger in causing problems. I am looking forward to sailing on a cruise ship next month with my vaccinations docs handy.
