Raffaele Esposito, the 19th century Neapolitan credited with inventing Italy’s most famous type of pizza, may be turning in his grave: Rome has a new vending machine which slides out freshly cooked pizzas in just three minutes.
Buyers using the flaming red "Mr. Go Pizza" machine can choose from four different kinds of pizzas costing from 4.50 to 6 euros ($5.2-7.2). The machine kneads and tops the dough and customers can watch the pizza cook behind a small glass window.
Reviews by customers on Thursday of the machine, one of the first in Rome, ranged from "acceptable if you're in a hurry" to outright horror.
"It looks good but it is much smaller than in a restaurant and there is less topping," said Claudio Zampiga, a pensioner.

NOOoo!!
C’mon... they could absolutely love it, but as Italians, they are culturally obligated to rate it down by at least 2 stars.
Why would you introduce this in a pizza haven? This is for people who are not serious about pizza, or food in general, and just need something on the go.
Talk about not knowing your customers...
It looks like crap dude.
It’ll be a hit in Japan! They vend everything!.................
One of the worst pizzas I ever had was in Rome and this is no improvement.
LOL!
Then someone added corn to a pizza, and finished the guy off!
I bet it can’t even cook your shirt while you’re waiting.
I’ve seen more appealing Totino’s......

From dough to fully cooked pizza in 3 minutes? This is definitely targeted for the U.S. market.
The EU internal and import trade regulations regarding food items are the most restrictive in the world.
There is only one form of “legal” Parmesan cheese allowed anywhere in the EU, from any source, within or from beyond the EU. It can come from only one place in Italy, period, no exceptions. There are hundreds of such rules in the EU and they are required to be in all EU trade agreements, and those trade agreements require those rules apply to the countries signing those trade agreements with the EU. That means any countries signing a trade agreement with the EU must also ban any Parmesan cheese that is not legal in the EU.
bagel pizza bites are superior!
This would be an improvement in Reno, which has some really lousy and inconsistent pizza places.
EU trade laws are retarded.
They need to go full meta with a vending machine that vends *vending machines* that then vend the product.
We had those in Navy barracks
