IIRC, HIPAA only applies to disseminating a person’s medical records, not asking about them............

Isn’t that against HIPAA regulations to inquire about private medical information? I'll bet that most NFL contracts allow team physicians and staff the right to crawl up players' asses with microscopes, if need be to know what state of health a player is in at any time.
Still, requiring a yet-approved drug is going too far.
