Old commie
May she rest in peace. I loved her in Steel Magnolias.
Gee....a Connie dies.
Good acting is required to be a democrat. They really can’t believe the crap they say.... can they? /S
Was just talking about Moonstruck this morning. The part where the mother in Italy is ‘dying’ and the sad music is playing, everyone around her bed crying, so funny. She ain’t dyin’!
But I remember reading Dukakis saying that movie changed her life. She suddenly was famous and very rich.
Left or right the movie was very good. Lot of heart in it. I prefer to remember it that way.
Snap out of it.
Before Moonstruck she and her husband ran a theatre in Montclair, NJ. I remember seeing her in Waiting for Godot.
Johnny Crawford (The Rifleman) died yesterday.

Don’t know why I remember little things-—it’s actually a curse.
At some awards ceremony the year Michael Dukakis was running, she won something and defiantly said “And now you go out and win as President, Michael” to cheers and applause.
A true Karen, without a slur name then, but I hated her and never forgot that and said to myself, dear God don’t let him win.
Thanks be to God he lost.
She was actually in the first Vigilante movie with Charles Bronson. Not credited. She was the police woman in uniform sitting down when the blowhard police investigator calls a general meeting to work out how to catch the vigilante.
Talented actress. RIP.
Sad...
Far too young to die...
She was great in Moonstruck. I don’t care about her politics. She made me smile for two hours.
She played pretend. And she did it well. Some folks need to lighten up and enjoy stuff when you can.
RIP Ms. Dukakis. I’ll never forget Clairee Belcher...gotta put politics aside sometime........;)
