A white Democrat official is facing mounting calls for his resignation after he blasted Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) by using a racial slur. Gary O'Connor, the Lamar County, Texas, Democratic Party chair, has been hit with a severe backlash for calling Scott "an Oreo" in a social media post.

Speaking of GOP pickup opportunities - has anyone created a ranking of vulnerability for Democrats in states with GOP governors? I’m thinking - folks in precarious health, those under threat of indictment, etc. While we all look forward to recapturing the House in November 2022 - they are only 5 seats away right now. The right combination of strokes, heart attacks, falling from a ladder while clearing leaves out of the gutter, and the old standby, plane crashes, and we could be in business before then.
The really important question is when while Nabisco Division have to dump the “Oreo” brand name on account of racist connotations? That’s how ridiculous things are getting. And BTW, if Maxine Waters had dropped the “Oreo” on Tim Scott everything would have been Hunkey-Dorey.
