There are bigger names in the South Florida pizza industry, and there are certainly smaller ma’ and pa’ pizza joints along Bird Road, US-1, Alton Road — you name it. However, there’s one unsuspecting pizza spot, whose roots come straight from Caserta, Italy, that you might have missed.
It’s Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza, and it has been named the “Best Pizza in Florida” by Food & Wine.

The pinched up crust must be good for at least 50 points on the food rater’s scoring.

No more Calzones for you!

You have a couple of options here. You can either dive head first into the abundance of pepperoni at 2:00, or you can let your fingers to the walking to re-distribute some of the 2:00 ‘ronis elsewhere. Your choice.

It is a handsome presentation. The crust reminds me of soda crackers. Intentionally flavorless to enhance the savory toppings.

Insure about the use of ricotta but what the hell.
makes it more like an unfolded Calzone. If it was meatball & sausage, it could be a sheet of lasagne.

I was in that rare mood where I wanted anchovies on my No Cheese Pizza.
Back in 1981, I worked at a Pizza Hut in Connecticut where anchovies weren't on the menu, but we carried them because we would occasionally get an order for them.
Here's the problem:
You get a couple of requests a week for anchoives. You open the tin and a few anchovies go a long way. The opened tin goes back in the cooler, which soon smells like anchovies.
The new manager told us to phase out anchovies. We had a box of tins, and any time someone ordered anchovies, we were to use the entire tin on the pizza. On a large pizza, it would simply seem generous. On a small, it would be overwhelming. Complaints could not be made, because it would be ridiculous to complain that there were too many anchovies on an anchovy pizza!
But here's the other problem. When we finally ran out of tins, and ordered no more, we had a couple of disappointed customers who were coming over for the most anchovy laden pizza in town!

It’s not the best in Florida. I’ve been to several that are better.

There is an old saying that goes like this:
“Some people have a sweet taste for *hit”
In today’s world I think you change “Some” to “Most”.
The pizza today is just plain crap as far as I am concerned.
Much of that is due to fact that the quality and quantities of ingredients are so expensive today in order to make a good pizza. Also that most people just have no idea what a good pizza really is because virtually no one has been making them for years.
