The blue backlash is coming because Biden's policy is putting a lot of Democrats in political trouble.
Over the last few weeks, we've heard from a lot of border mayors and congressmen about the mess in their neighborhood. My guess is that a lot of them would have preferred for VP Harris to come to Laredo, Texas than having a virtual talk with the President of Guatemala.
Anyway, it's not surprising that blues are starting to complain about the Biden policy, especially facing reelection in 2022 like Senator Mark Kelly in Arizona.
President Biden said nothing of consequence about the border the other night and the "blues" are not happy. This is from Bryan Preston:
It is a border crisis. American citizens in the border states are seeing their vehicles stolen, their property overrun, and their lives endangered by chaos as about 1,000 illegal migrants, aliens, whatever term of art the government-media complex prefers to use today, cross into the United States daily.
Needless to say, the illegal border crossers are not being screened for COVID. Coyotes don’t provide that service in the vehicles they steal to move their human cargo across the border. The United States largely doesn’t know who they are, where they came from, or where they’re going.
In Texas, it was Democrat Rep. Henry Cuellar who first leaked video of the real conditions on the border to get around Biden’s blackout of media coverage.
Can you understand why? Who came up with the idea of letting people in in the middle of a pandemic? We've just seen a silly scene of vaccinated congressmen wearing masks and standing apart from each other. At the same time, we're letting people into the country who are not screened for COVID.

Aren’t elected people in the USA supposed to represent their constituents? They are not supposed to import new constituents who better fit the image of who they want to represent.

I think Covid is the least of the worries of disease crossing the border. Remember outbreaks of drug resistant TB a while back? Probably 100 more odd diseases that we have no immunity to also.
This is added to the rape, robbery, vandalism, drugs, and terrorists coming across the border. Akin to dropping sewage into the supper meal.
I just ran across an article that was discussing whether or not a WuFlu infection could set off latent TB.
Also, why is it teachers unions never have a kitten about TB in the classroom...?

Geez. You’d think they coulda figured this out ahead of time. I can’t begin to believe that even the leftist of lefties could believe that their constituents would appreciate a hoard of illegals coming to their neighborhoods, taking their jobs, drinking their liquor, DUIing all over the place.
Why would they be worried? Isn’t this one of those crises they take advantage of to push through pet legislation?
I don’t think the lefties have a clue. They are living in their own false reality.
Not all cases of TB are created equal, BTW.
MDR and XDR TB don’t seem to scare our elected officials and bureaucrats as much as WuFlu.

The first senator to pay the price for Biden’s opening the border is Mark Kelly. He will get double dipped: one from the fraud proof following the AZ audit now under way, and second, form the border crises. The audit will prove that he never won the job in the first place. May God bless the good people of AZ. Their patience will be rewarded.

In the old days, a TB test was mandated for teachers (at least in the district where I worked) every four years.
Any new enrollees from a foreign country were mandated to have a TB test as well.
All of this has changed.
Last time I went for my TB test, about three years ago, after receiving notice, I was told by Kaiser that they no longer tested for TB - I was asked three questions and signed off.
A nurse I trust told me she was mandated to take a TB test every year as a condition of employment. This stopped when the test itself was linked to gut cancers.
Now, no TB test is mandated for students OR teachers. I was told if the test is mandated for students, the school district must pay for it and THAT is the reason students are no longer tested. TB is not a condition of exclusion in the schools. I’m sure it’s been coughed in my face, given how many immigrants are pouring in.
It is absolutely scandalous that the teachers’ unions go along with immigrants entering classrooms without having had any sort of health screening, exposing their members to all sorts of 3rd world diseases - a doctor told me scabies is very common among teachers now, brought in by the 3rd world.
But then the union has never, ever cared about teachers, only its power and political actions.
Blue is soft and cuddly
Red is harsh and mean
Legal immigrants and black Americans in particular suffer the most from illegals and they know the Democrats are throwing it in their faces.
