Woke Westerners wanting to change languages with gender languages is an act of cultural imperialism.

Spanish, French, etc. also have gender differences in the language. This idiot chose to study one such language, and now he's calling for changes in the language itself? The language represents thousands of years of given gender roles in the society from which it arose, and now wittle snowflake Donavan wants the language to conform to a fleeting new view of gender?
Sure, kid. Now go play in the street.

I know, right?
This dude should go to Saudi Arabia, and tell everyone there their language needs to be more inclusive of homosexuality and gender identities and expression and all that. See what sort of reaction he gets to his attempts to educated Saudis about the language.

You can’t have gender-neutral Arabs, or how will they know which one beats up the other?

...identities within the cisnormative male and female binary
Pure nonsense. Gobbledygook.
Now, the truth of the matter:
So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply..."

Say, that’s an idea. We should put together a fund raiser for his field trip to Saudi Arabia or Pakistan.

lol .. Spanish and French are a challenge to them because every word has a gender as you said. I can’t wait for them to try to change Taco to Tacx and quesadilla to quesadillx. It’s going to be great.

Try German, where EVERY noun has a gender. Things like a young girl is neuter, the sun is female and the moon is male.

Try German, where EVERY noun has a gender. Things like a young girl is neuter, the sun is female and the moon is male. Meanwhile the confused French and Spaniards think the sun is male and the moon is female. Silly Frenchies.
The young girl being neuter in German is the one rule that made sense: all diminutives are neuter. Mãdchen and Frãulein are therefore neuter. In three years of high school German that is the one rule I never saw an exception for.

In Latin the gender of a word has little to do with actual gender or gender relativity. For example, the first word I learned in 9th grade Latin was nauta...sailor or mariner. It is a feminine noun despite the fact that few if any mariners were female.
