If folks have talent to dominate in a certain field, more power to them. Always got a kick out of folks who whined about “white privilege” at the Ivies when white gentiles are a minority at every single Ivy institution.
I attended a school like these in Chicago called Lane Tech Vocational at the time. Every student in the City had to take a test to see if they qualified to attend. I was one of 5 from my school and there was every race represented once their. It did not matter if you lived across the street from the school, no go and if you did not maintain a C average by the end of your Sophomore year you had to find another school.
No, it was not all white by any means, nor Asian or anything. Brains do not have a skin color
End the tests? Instead, END “elite” public schools.

But, anyone who doesn’t like public school is still forced to pay taxes to fund it.
Public school spending should be cut to a minimum. No separate schools for the “elite.”
Parents who don’t like it should send their kids to private schools on their own dime.

“Elite” public schools are generally cheaper to run than average, and much less than those full of Title 1 kids.
Smart kids are cheap to teach. Those that need remedial and special ed are expensive.
