SAN FRANCISCO - University of California, San Francisco officials say a man in his 30s is recuperating after developing a rare blood clot in his leg within two weeks of receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
UCSF says the man was admitted 13 days after receiving the vaccination and should be released shortly.
Federal officials lifted an 11-day pause on use of the single-shot vaccine Friday, saying the benefits outweighed the risks.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as of Friday had reported the rare clotting condition in 15 people, all women, after 8 million doses were administered nationally. Three of the women, most of whom were under age 50, died, and seven remain hospitalized.

“the benefits outweighed the risks.”
Tell that to his/her family along with a 10 to 20 thousand hospital bill.

“rare” being the operative word.
Competing in the margins...
J&J’s reported kill rate 0.0001875% — < 50 YO
Unvaccinated killed-with-SARS rate 0.0035% — < 35 YO

the benefits outweighed the risks. Same thing can be said of doing nothing about WuFlu other than taking your vitamins and getting some fresh air and exercise.

Remember all the threads here asking “Do you even KNOW anyone who has caught COVID?
Here come the “Do you even KNOW anyone who has been harmed by a vaccine threads.
And yes, I know of one. Woman, about 40, got the Pfizer, both shots, went downhill quickly. Diagnosis is a permanently enlarged heart, and Doctor says it's a side effect of the virus.
I have another friend who just had a heart check up appointment with a nurse practitioner. He's 71 and has a pacemaker, long term heart problems, two valve replacements. Nurse told him to not get vaxxed under any circumstances.

Sorry, that should read “side effect of the vaccine” above, not of the virus.

Define “rare”. Your neighbor dies from blood clots, it's 'rare'. A member of your family dies, it's an 'epidemic'................
