SAN FRANCISCO - University of California, San Francisco officials say a man in his 30s is recuperating after developing a rare blood clot in his leg within two weeks of receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
UCSF says the man was admitted 13 days after receiving the vaccination and should be released shortly.
Federal officials lifted an 11-day pause on use of the single-shot vaccine Friday, saying the benefits outweighed the risks.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as of Friday had reported the rare clotting condition in 15 people, all women, after 8 million doses were administered nationally. Three of the women, most of whom were under age 50, died, and seven remain hospitalized.
I take vitamin D since Im always deficient now the baby aspirin Ive never taken..advil and tylenol yes but never baby aspirin..I just hope I dont croak after taking this damn shot :( I know its rare but still rare things happen

Me too LOL..I think I will be Ok..my mom who has high blood pressure, had both shots, no side effects other than yawning the very first day..so if she can be Ok so can I..hopefully :-)
He may be able to survive if he got any benefit from the vax at all. Prayers UP!.......................

I have a co-worker, who just yesterday received his second dose. He took the day off. (Nobody knew he was getting the shots-not our business)
He arrived this morning to work, not looking well. Complaining to other co-workers that he feels like sh-t, but he says he will tough it out. I hope he doesn’t have a bad go of it. His wife just gave birth to a girl a month ago.
