Thank you both
That was a funny cryptogram I had fun solving. Thanks
nice puzzle, word 10, a lucky guess, broke it open
Couldn’t do it in my head, but it sounded like it’d make a great Ray Stevens (”Mississippi Squirrel Revival”, “Guitarzan”) song.
Good one!!!!!
Well, color me embarrassed! I have never clicked on the Hal’s Cryptogram Helper link. I figured it was the info (instructions and hints) they put in the front of cryptogram books. As a decades-long cryptogram-aholic, I knew I didn’t need any instructions, so it never occurred to me to click the link!
If I had a working printer, I would C&P the puzzle into a Word document, do a little formatting to allow for room for the solution above above the puzzle, print it out and solve it. Since I don’t have one, I go through all kinds of gyrations to format a Word document to allow me to work the puzzle on my computer screen. I’ll probably keep doing that rather than use Hal’s because I’ve become a bit more eccentric at my advanced age. If I get a working printer, I’ll start printing them out again and solving them the old fashioned way, although I might give Hal’s a try just to have the experience.
Easy one and I have never heard of this person
Easy, although the author is not someone with whom I am familiar.
Lol sort of like pickled peppers.
Or seashells
Try saying that five times fast.... just under fifty seconds to solve. So many pattern words and repeats. Most of that time was writing it down...
“Try saying that five times fast...”
OK. I did. In about the same amount of time it took you to solve the puzzle. I’ve still got it! (It was taught to me at an early by my mother — when my mind was still a sponge.)
