Smoked with what? Lizard skins? Moldy grass clippings?

I am housebound, and have been since 2013. After Katrina, it was Tabasco in the center’s MREs.

As to the contender, I thought so.

Sauce?

My favorite hot seasoning?

I make my own. 2 flavors.

Roasted and frozen Hatch Green Chili’s.

And dried Habanero’s. I cut around the stem and remove most of the seed pod. (you MUST wear rubber gloves when handling them) Cut in 1/4’s, like quartering an apple. Dry them in a dehydrator. Then I grind them in a mortar and pestle when using them. Caution, Concentrated, 1/2 of a 1/4 is plenty for most dishes. Sooo much better flavor than Jalapenos.

Yep. They have some very unique stuff there. My favorite was the tabasco-flavored ice cream. The food at their restaurant wasn’t too bad either. It made for a nice day trip via motorcycle for us.

Marie Sharps Habenaro sauce is one of the best I have found. Discovered it on our trip to Belize 2 years ago.

Bahhh, Tabasco is over rated. Just spicy, salty vinegar. No real taste. My fave is Sriracha; or as the kids call it, Millennial Ketchup. Tabasco now makes a Sriracha but it tastes just like their regular hot sauce.

Only thing I use Tabasco for is gumbo, with Louisiana Hot Sauce being a good substitute.

For all other hot sauce needs I prefer Cholula, either original or lime.

Crystal hot sauce. It was the only hot sauce in the mess halls and was quite good. equal to Tabasco in my taste.

It’s okay to splash a few drops on pizza. Gives it a little zing.
