First shots slowed noticeably over the last week, from what had been a long gradual trend of acceleration. Maybe the J&J pause and bad press, maybe weakening demand, maybe the shifting demographics, maybe some other factors.

Check my posting history and you’ll see that’s not the case. Some of my family members have had COVID-19 and I wouldn’t encourage them to get the vaccine. Also I’m all for opening schools and businesses, not requiring masks and having complete freedom on whether or not to be vaccinated.

I’m opposed to the massive lies and misrepresentations many of the anti-vaxxers post here. I have zero problem with someone simply being against vaccinations for himself/herself or his/her family.

It is nuts out there. I had the WuFlu this Feb. Mildest cold I’ve ever had. I even then took the extra step in late March to blood test for antibodies, I have them. Yet, I’m still being pushed to get the stupid vaccine. Crazy!!!

I am simply against the vaccine for me because I already had Batflu, it was mild, this is an emergency use and brand new vaccine and I am not at high risk but I am being pressured to get vaccinated by many who are scared.

I used to be a bacteriologist, trained in medical technology. So I’m not uneducated when I say that people who have had covid (with the hallmark symptoms of loss of smell, headache, fever, etc) probably shouldn’t get the vaccination (correct terminology is ‘immunization’) because their existing antibodies may fight the antigens in the shot and cause unwanted side effects.

It is possible that those who had wild covid infection will have longer lasting antibodies than those who were vaccinated, bringing up the question of whether those of us who were vaccinated will need to get boosters in the future.

For those who haven’t had covid infection, getting a vaccination is a way of aiding your community in reaching herd immunity and protecting your neighbors and fellow humans.

Having concerns about this experimental treatment does not equal being anti vaccination. I have zero concerns over attenuated vaccines. Expressing your contempt for people such as myself, who have valid safety concerns shows a certain lack of understanding.

May very well not have concerns over mRNA vaccines in the future, but it’s going to take a couple years to see up what happens with the volunteers.

Workmates mainly, some family. Reasons are antibodies only last 3 months, covid mutations, and vaccine will provide stronger antibodies. I reject it all, so far my employer hasn’t made anything mandatory, then things will get uncomfortable.

Broad brush character assassination is all the vaxophiles have in their arsenal because the evidence of their safety is totally lacking.

When you can’t refute with facts and data, simply discredit your opponent by any means possible and if that means labeling them as *anti-vaxxers* as if they oppose ALL use of vaccines, (real ones that actually confer immunity) and *flat earthers*, then so be it.

They’ll do it and they have and they are.
