“may need the baler by this point”
And its getting wet next week...just make certain its dry before you move into the barn! :) (I know...its just your mower!)
You’re going to love this one! While mowing, having passed by the same (abandoned) pick-up truck by the barn, oh, 537 times so far, I managed to clip the edge of the downed tailgate and plinked off the knob that allows me to turn the mower blades on and off!
I couldn’t have done that on a DARE!
So, luckily, it’s stuck in the position where the blades are off, so the machine will start - in case Beau can’t fix it and it needs to be driven onto the trailer and taken in for repair. Luckily, I DID get 99% of the mowing done,
I’ve been kicking myself all day and night for that boneheaded move! Grrrr!
As an added bonus, Beau and his F350 broke down when he was coming back from mowing a pasture for a neighbor, so I had to go pick him up, then we came home, got another vehicle that was going in for some welding, drive there, drive back (NOTHING is close by where we live) so that ate up 3 more hours of my life, yesterday.
It was not a, ‘Dear Diary: Today was a GREAT day!’ kind of day! Nothing I hate more than mechanical failures; self-induced or otherwise! :(
