funny I’m just now watching the Twilight Zone , an episode called “The Obsolete Man”.....exactly what is going on now....we’re all being made obsolete and the govt will take care of us...
“funny I’m just now watching the Twilight Zone “
Short slide: I had my own Twilight Zone moment last Sunday night.
I was listening to an audiobook of John Sandford’s “Bad Blood”, in which there is a deputy sheriff character named Sheckel.
I was also “watching” (well, it was on) Three Stooges movies on Youtube via Roku. The boys had just boarded a ship after being lost at sea for a while and were looking around before anyone saw them.
At the exact same time that the audiobook narrator in my ears said “...Sheckel said.”, the name of the ship was uncovered - the S.S. Sheckelgruber.
Mind. Blown.
Wish I knew what all that meant, if anything.

I’ve got one for you even funnier:
Yesterday I was thinking of posting a question to this forum on what Twilight Zone episode best reflects current events, as National Twilight Zone Day is coming up in May.
I decided to first ask S.O., as S.O. has been known to binge-watch TZ every so often.
I could only think of ten episodes off the top of my head, and none seemed that great a match.
Anyway, right away S.O. answers “The Obsolete Man.”
Obsolete Man is a good one have watched it a few times. Also loved “The Lives of Others”, which I watched last night for the first time. Amazing film about socialism. Mark Levin highly recommended it on a show about a month ago but didn’t say anything about it. He doesn’t talk about movies ever unless they are WWII monies. He just said he thought everyone should see this movie. I agree now.
